EZWire

 |
EZWire is a set of applications used to transmit and receive text data via the Internet. EZWire is designed to run as a 'background' process, with no user input required to receive data.
EZWire is unique in that it permits users to establish a private 'wire service', which can send data directly to Newsroom Computers Systems (NCS).
EZWire is not limited to broadcasters or to clients who have NCS. It can also store files (on plain text format) directly on the customer's computer.
EZWire is a companion product to EZNews, the fully-integrated, Windows-based NCS from Automated Data Systems.
EZWire is versatile and can service virtually any size group or organization.
EZWire uses standard protocols (IPTC 7901) to insure the greatest degree of compatability.
Station groups or regional affiliate groups can use EZWire as a
Script Exchange to supplement their normal network and wire services.
Each station is equipped with both EZSend and EZReceive to permit
maximum flexibility at minimal cost.

State and Regional News Services and other content providers
can use EZWire as a distribution mechanism as well as a way
to put Bureaus and contributing correspondents 'on the wire'.
Any location can be restricted in terms of the ability to
send scripts to the service in addition to receiving text.

EZWire can also be configured in conjunction to facilitate data input from anywhere on the globe with a simple Internet connection.
