EZNews Wire Server Specs

In most scenarios, EZWire can simply be run on the file server.
If, however, your installation requires a separate machine to receive wire data, the following specs apply.

CPU	1 GHz or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) CPU	2.4 GHz or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) CPU
RAM	1GB RAM (32-bit) 2GB RAM (64-bit)	4GB or more

Serial Ports

No serial port is required to receive AP WebFeeds, RSS, or Twitter feeds. If, however data is to be received via a serial cable (e.g. from a modem or satellite receiver), a separate serial port must be available for each service. Many manufacturers no longer build serial ports into their machines, however it is easy to obtain 3rd party USB to serial adapters at reasonable cost. Many online retailers as well as local computer stores handle these devices.
